Educational Qualification for Work Assistant
Candidates must possess :
- Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised university or The Technical Examination Board.
- Note: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is not eligible.
- Basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.
- Well knowledge in Gujarati, Hindi or both.
Age Limit for Work Assistant (As on Dt. 10-06-2025)
- Minimum Age Limit : Not specified
- Maximum Age Limit : 33 years
- Relaxation : As per government rule.
Application Fees for Work Assistant
- General category : Ra.100/- + Bank Charges
- SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-servicemen Candidates : No
- Late Fees Charges : Rs. 500/-
Late Fee Process:
If the general Category candidate fails to pay within the timeline, they can visit the GPSSB office from 11-06-2025 to 13-06-2025 and pay Rs.500/- in cash.
Salary and Payscale
- Initial fixed pay : Rs.26,000/- Per month (For 5 years fixation).
- Post completion of contract : Eligible for Level-4 pay matrix Rs.25,500 – Rs.81,100 as per 7th Pay Commission guidelines.
