JAG Entry Scheme 124th Course (Oct 2026)

 

Education – Indian Army Recruitment 2026

Minimum Marks: Candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their LLB Degree (either 3 years professional after graduation or 5 years after 10+2). CLAT Score: CLAT PG 2025 Score is MANDATORY for all candidates (including LLM qualified/appearing). Bar Council Registration: The candidate should be eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State. Institution: The College/University must be recognized by the Bar Council of India.

 

Age Limit (As on 01-07-2026) – Indian Army Recruitment 2026

Age: 21 to 27 Years. Birth Date Range: Born not earlier than 02 July 1999 and not later than 01 July 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Salary and Benefits – Indian Army Recruitment 2026

Stipend during Training: Rs.56,100/- per month. Pay Scale on Commissioning: Lieutenant Rank – Level 10 (Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,77,500) + MSP  Rs.15,500/- + Other Allowances.

 

Selection Process– Indian Army Recruitment 2026

Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) will shortlist applications based on the CLAT PG 2025 score. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be detailed for the SSB interview at Selection Centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar). The interviews are likely to be held in May/June 2026. Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a medical examination. Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the SSB interview.

• Fill in the personal, communication, and education details carefully. CGPA/Grades must be converted to marks as per your university’s formula.
• Submit the form and take two printouts of the final application (one to carry to the SSB interview).
