Short Information: Intelligence Bureau (IB) under Ministry of Affairs has published a Official notification for the post of Security Assistant (Motor Transport) No. of 455 Posts Vacancy. Security Assistant (Motor Transport)

Education – Intelligence Bureau (IB) 2025

Matriculation from a recognized Board of Education, and
Possession of valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority; and
Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the
vehicle), and
Experience of driving a Motor Car for at least one year after obtaining valid driving license, and
Possession of domicile certificate of that State against which candidate has applied.

Age Limit (As on 28-09-2025) – Intelligence Bureau (IB) Recruitment 2025

Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
Maximum Age Limit: 28 Years

Relaxation:

For SC/ ST Candidates: 5 Years
For OBC Candidates: 3 Years
Departmental Candidates: 40 Years (who have rendered 3 years of regular & continuous service)
